What’s your act about?
My style of comedy is basically physical comedy, visual comedy and silent comedy.
What inspires you?
When asked if money inspires him to pursue comedy, he said:
Ebiye: I don’t think money inspires me, at least not anymore, lol.
If you weren’t a comedian, what would you be up to right now?
I would have been a funny doctor or a funny mechanic or a funny waiter, what I would have been doing basically would have been crazy.
When did you graduate?
Mehn, it was hard for me back then , my mates graduated in 2014, and i had an extra year due to some issues, i had an extra year so I graduated in 2015.
During your stay in convenant , where you inspired in anyway?
Covenant motivated me , we were trained not to believe in working for other people, we were trained to be self-made. They thought us to be entrepreneurs. We had a course called “EDS” entrepreneurship development studies.
That’s the thing , I never knew this was comedy, always felt like this was me. In primary school back then, I won an award for “most humorous boy”, I was always that funny guy, they would always punish me everyday.
How has it been for you as a young comedian in the comedy industry?
Tbhv it hasn’t been easy for me, I came into the industry and I wasn’t really given a chance, so I had to take it.
What are your hobbies?
My hobby now is watching movies, I barely go out so I am always on Netflix .
Are you single?
Lol, this is like the last question I am always asked during interviews, anyway, yes I am single.
Jermaine: some time ago on instagram you got engaged to a lady?
Ebiye: That was for a skit, it wasn’t real, that was a skit but everyone took it seriously.
Words of encouragement to people who look up to you?
Look up to GOD, He is the ultimate .
What are the tips you have for up coming comedians on how to better?
No one actually knows the way to succeed , stay true to your self and you will achieve all you set out to do.
